Environmental Policy

TANDBERG Television is committed to the well being of the environment.

In the pursuit of best environmental practice we endeavor to comply with all relevant statutory regulations in the countries in which we operate.

We endorse and promote ecological design principles including:

• Component selection and manufacturing methods which avoid the use of restricted and hazardous substances.
• Design for durability, upgradeability, reparability, and recoverability of component parts and materials on disposal.

In addition we have made the following commitments:

• We will, upon request, accept the return of our products for re-use and recycling at end of life.
• We endeavor to minimize our impact on the local community & environment by preventing pollution, and by conserving, re-using, and recycling general resources wherever possible.
• We will develop our staff training to promote personal environmental responsibility and to raise awareness of this policy.
• We promote ethical business practices.
• We encourage and expect all employees, suppliers and sub-contractors of TANDBERG Television to support the implementation of this policy.
